Thich Nhat Hanh

Relationships are complicated, ya’ll

Are you struggling to fix a relationship problem, but despite your best attempts, it keeps repeating itself, and you can’t figure it out— but really want to!

Maybe it is difficult to assert yourself or express emotions. Maybe you overreact by making assumptions or shut down to avoid conflict. Maybe it is hard to listen to or keep an open mind with a family member or loved one because trust has been eroded.

I believe that people who find themselves in messy relationships deserve an opportunity to change old habits shaped by factors often outside their awareness or control.

As adults, we are all trying our very best each day to navigate the complexities of life and meet the various challenges that come our way. And, let’s face it; we all have blind spots and could use the support of an experienced professional to help us find our way.

So welcome to my webpage; I am glad you are here!

I can help you build trust, foster intimacy, and open the lines of communication in your important relationships — whether at home, in the workplace, or in your friendships. At the very least, I can help you put your best foot forward with crystal clear intentions.

Together, we will uncover and explore your existing beliefs and behaviors to help you develop healthy coping strategies and effective communication skills.

Through a series of guided experiential exercises designed to improve your mood and functioning, you will gain greater insight and use better judgment to prevent breakdowns and improve interactions with others.

I Can Help You

Clarify Your
Values

Personal values are the beliefs that matter to you. They guide your actions and words. When your life doesn’t match your values, you may feel upset or lost. I can help you understand and live by your values to make choices and find your direction.

Restore Your Energy

Your energy is essential but limited. Strong feelings like worry, anger, sadness, loneliness, and grief drain your energy and can cause physical discomfort and sickness if they last too long. I can help you heal your emotional pain and recharge your energy.

Strengthen Your
Bonds

To improve relationships, whether by creating stronger connections or setting healthy boundaries, start with clear intentions. I can help you care about others while also taking care of yourself.

The Therapist

Stacy was raised in a bi-cultural, blended family in Texas, where she was surrounded by many ‘helpers’ who contributed to her upbringing. She graduated with a master’s degree from the Smith College School for Social Work located in Massachusetts in 2008. Today, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in multiple states and has been practicing therapy for over 15 years. Stacy is a step-mother in a blended family who enjoys spending time in the wilderness and cuddling her bulgy-eyed chihuahua named Taco.

I provide individualized care by adapting to the unique need, ability, and interest of each client.
